Carol Cullen: Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Consultant
Ice Construction Ltd is a small civil construction company which specialises in;
bridge repairs and strengthening,
tunnel repairs and lining,
work around power generating facilities,
small suspension bridge construction,
timber bridge and boardwalk construction,
concrete work,
rock fall protection work and
industrial abseiling.
We therefore carry out a wide variety of work, much of which is specialist and has
difficult access.
We engaged Carol Cullen to prepare Health and Safety and Quality Assurance systems
to cover our variety of work. With her assistance we achieved Accident Compensation
Corporation Tertiary Level accreditation and ISO 9001 quality accreditation in 2005.
These are both externally audited systems.
Carol continued to run our systems, take monthly health and safety meetings with all our
staff and maintain our accreditations until she left for Australia in 2007.
